Hey guys!

Does anyone had an experience having this disease in their stock? Cockatoos primarily. Im currently researching about this disease but can't get any clear etiology of this disease. Currently i know a case of such existing here, however its still a tentative diagnosis. Can anyone help me on this specially on the aspect on confirming it. Thanks! Very Happy

Circovirus (Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease)Infection is primarily seen in young birds. Typical signs could be feather loss (areas which the bird cannot pluck included), lack of powder down, pigment loss in feathers, abnormal pin feathers.

This can of disease has no treatment whatsoever. It is suggested that the bird must be totally isolated or sometimes euthanized.
